Resize & crop PDF
Content is scaled down or up to fit the new size, keeping its proportions, centred.
Add at least one page to create a file.
Runs on your device. Pages keep their text, drawings and images — nothing is turned into an image.
Cropped areas stay in the file (only hidden). Content is scaled evenly, never stretched.
How to use
- Add a PDF file.
- Choose a crop (find white margins automatically or enter margins in mm) and/or a new paper size (A4, A5, A3, B5, Letter, Legal, custom).
- Choose orientation and placement: fit to page (scaled, proportions kept) or keep 100%; preview every page.
- Create the file: the new file is reopened to check each page size and the page text.
Current limits
- Cropped areas are only hidden and stay in the file — to remove information for good, use Redact PDF.
- Content is scaled evenly, never stretched: a size with other proportions gets white margins.
- Removing white margins works from the page image: scans with black borders or edge shadows may not crop tightly — enter margins instead.
Frequently asked questions
Does resizing blur text or turn pages into images?
No. The original page content keeps its text and drawings and is only placed into the new size by scaling — text stays selectable and searchable.
Do links and form fields stay in place?
Yes. Links, form fields, notes and bookmark targets are moved with the same scaling as the content.
Does cropping delete what is cut off?
No. Cropping only changes the visible area of the page; the cut-off part stays in the file. To remove information, use Redact PDF.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Reading pages, finding white margins and creating the file all run in your browser on your device.
