Terms of use

By using PDF Tool Plus (https://pdftoolplus.com) you agree to the terms below.

The service

PDF Tool Plus provides free tools for preparing files (merge, split, compress, convert, redact) that run in your browser. No account is required. Features may change, be added, or be paused for maintenance.

Your responsibilities

• Only process files you are entitled to use.
• Do not use the tools to forge documents or alter their content to deceive anyone, or for any unlawful purpose. The redaction tool is for hiding unnecessary details, not for changing what a document says.
• Check every result (all pages present, readable, correct format and size) before submitting it. The on-page checklist measures real technical properties of the file but does not replace reading the content yourself.
• Keep your originals. The site creates new files and never modifies the originals, but files in a session are gone once you close the tab.

Limitation of liability

• Results depend on the input files, your browser and your device. Some files cannot reach every size limit; the site then states “Not met” with the real size.
• PDF Tool Plus does not confirm that a file will be accepted by any authority, school or employer; their requirements apply.
• The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from using or being unable to use the service, including rejected or late applications.

Content and brand

The source code, interface, guide content and identity of PDF Tool Plus belong to the site operator and are protected by copyright. You may not copy the site, its code or its content, in whole or in part, to operate another service, republish, sell or rent it without the operator's written permission; unauthorized copies will be reported for removal (to hosting providers, search engines and ad networks) and may be pursued under intellectual property law.

Open-source libraries used on the site (such as pdf.js and Tesseract) belong to their authors and keep their own licenses. The heading font is distributed under the SIL Open Font License. Files you process remain yours.

Advertising

The site may show third-party ads as described in the Privacy policy. Ads are not endorsements or guarantees by PDF Tool Plus of the advertised products.
