How to use
- Add the PDF to fill.
- PDFs with fillable boxes: type in “Fill in” (click a box on the page to jump to it). Without boxes: use “Text”, “Tick”, “Today’s date” and drag them into place.
- Press “Signature” to draw one or upload a signature image (the white background is removed), then place it where you sign.
- Keep “Flatten the form” for submission, press “Create filled PDF”, check it and download.
Current limits
- A signature image is just a picture, not a digital signature; it does not replace legally valid digital or electronic signatures.
- Dynamic XFA forms can only be filled through their accompanying AcroForm boxes (if any).
- Boxes with a character limit are cut at that limit; long text shrinks to fit the box.
- Font: Be Vietnam Pro; characters outside it (CJK, emoji…) are replaced with “?” and reported.
Frequently asked questions
Will accented text break in other PDF readers?
No. PDF Tool Plus builds the appearance of every box with a font embedded in the file, so accented text looks the same in every PDF reader.
What does flattening do?
It turns the filled content into part of the page: the recipient sees exactly what you see and the values can no longer be edited. Untick it if someone else still needs to fill the file.
Can I fill a scanned PDF without boxes?
Yes. Use “Text” and “Tick” to type over the blanks and drag them into place; the preview matches the result.
Is my signature image sent anywhere?
No. Signature images and strokes are processed in your browser on your device only.
